As the song goes, I'm just mad about those new TV ads for The Gap.
This Autumn, clothes retailer The Gap has been running two ads which US magazine 'Entertainment Weekly' describes as "the static antithesis of the chain's high-flying series of khakis dance spots."
Well, here at Foocha! we like all the Gap advertising - not least because of the horny babes they always feature! They're even cuter than The Gap's sales advisors (and I always promised myself that one day I'd settle down with a Gap store manager!)
The latest ads, "Everybody in cords" and "Everybody in vests" (that's 'waistcoast' in UK English) are directed by British pop video director Pedro Romhanyi. Romhanyi has directed numerous acclaimed videos, including Blur's Parklife.
Moving away from the Khakis' dancing theme, these spots feature songs, with a welcome reprieve of Donovan's "Mellow Yellow" and Madonna's "Dress you up". With adverts this great, it's just a shame their clothes aren't as well made!
