We are a lucky lot, when you think about it. Channel Four have provided us with top quality comedy shows - Friends, Frasier, even Spaced managed to find itself a respectable slot in the Friday night line up.

If there’s one thing us Brit’s love it’s Crime. Crime makes great TV, it must do because all five channels are awash with crime post watershed. Most of the US imports tend to veer toward the trashy – for every tough nut like ‘NYPD Blue’ there’s a handful of ‘Martial Law’s and ‘Hooperman’s.

I never really bothered to set my remote control so that the number pressed matches the correct channel. Consequently I’m often stuffed as to guessing which channel I’m watching. I suppose if it’s adverts I’m watching I can narrow my guesses down.
